Affiliate policy
Last updated: May 2026
What is an affiliate link?
When you click a "Buy at Amazon" button on this site and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from Amazon โ typically 1โ4% of the sale price. You pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go directly. The commission comes from Amazon's margin, not from you.
Which retailers do we link to?
All affiliate links on The Frame Finder currently go to Amazon โ Amazon.de for European visitors (including Norway, Germany, France, Netherlands, and other EU countries) and Amazon.com for US visitors. We chose Amazon because they offer consistent product availability, clear returns policies, and direct product pages โ not search results that may return nothing.
Does affiliate income affect our recommendations?
No. Camera scores, kit rankings, and quiz results are determined by our scoring methodology โ not by commission rates or retailer relationships. A camera with a higher affiliate commission does not score higher or appear more prominently in results. We'd recommend the same cameras if we earned nothing.
Do we disclose affiliate links?
Yes โ we use rel="nofollow sponsored" on all affiliate links as required by Google's guidelines and the EU's commercial content rules. The footer on every page notes: "Some links on this site are affiliate links. We may earn a small commission if you buy โ at no extra cost to you."
What about price accuracy?
Prices shown on The Frame Finder are approximate and updated periodically. Actual prices on Amazon may differ โ always check the current price before purchasing. We do not guarantee price accuracy.
Amazon Associates disclosure
The Frame Finder is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.de and amazon.com.
